Fish and Chip’s is a great traditional Friday meal so it seemed a good bet to try a local restaurant who specialises in fish & chips and offer eat in or takeaway service (including delivery).

Harry’s Fish bar & restaurant We reserved a table just in case and managed to park directly outside, parking is available but limited 🙂

We were quickly seated and offered menus etc. The restaurant was fully decorated for Christmas inside and out and was lovely and warm and felt very cozy and festive.

We opted for their Large fish and chips meal with garden peas (Choices of mushy peas, garden peas, baked beans, curry sauce or gravy), together with a bottle of diet coke.

 

 

The Fish was absolutely huge with a more then generous portion of chips (maybe order medium sized next time!) everything was piping hot and really delicious. Presentation was great and the food really did taste as good as it looked!

Obviously a meal isn’t really complete without a dessert 😉 and between us we opted for Jam Roly Poly with Custard, Strawberry & Coconut sponge with Ice-cream, Sticky Toffee pudding with Ice-cream and lastly a scoop of strawberry Ice-cream for out smallest guest 🙂

Desserts all arrived promptly (and at the same time which is a bonus) and were all thoroughly enjoyed by all of us!

 

Overall we all really enjoyed our visit to Harry’s and will definitely be returning in the near future!
