The cafe on The Delves fishing lakes in Thorne near Doncaster has recently changed ownership and had a makeover so it was on our checklist to try out!
Lake View Cafe, Thorne
After our weekly shop at the nearby Aldi in Thorne we decided today was the day and paid the Lake View cafe a visit!
The site is in a lovely spot with ample parking and lovely views over the adjacent lakes.
The whole cafe has undergone a major face-lift and looks really nice and welcoming, we chose a window seat (lucky for us the cafe was busy!).

I ordered the mega breakfast and Mrs Surfer had a traditional breakfast with 2 (giant) cups of tea, the meals were well presented, well cooked and used quality ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient. Unusually for us we found nothing to complain about so its a 10/10 from us.

Good food, good value for money, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The standard hasn’t dropped like some places do when been open a while
