Stainforth saw a new addition to our hot and cold food options this week with the opening of the family run “The Pitman’s Pantry” on Church Road, Stainforth DN7.

Under current Covid restrictions, they are limited to takeaway options only with indoor seating available as soon as the rules allow.

We thought we’d give them a try out (be rude not to!) And ordered 2 full English breakfasts delivered to our door. They have three size options available for breakfast and we opted for large which it certainly was as it included 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 fried egg, tinned tomatoes, baked beans, 2 hash browns and two rounds of toast.

The breakfast were terrific value at just £4.90 each and were of brilliant quality, freshly cooked using good quality ingredients.

We’ll definitely be back to try their dinner options and will of course pay a visit once they are fully open for dine in meals!

It’s great to see new businesses open and it does seem that the Pitman’s Pantry has hit the ground running as they seem to be regularly sold out, so if you fancy a treat don’t hesitate to get your order in and avoid disappointment!
