The Billesley Hungry Horse Restaurant, Kings Heath, Birmingham

Having just had a weekend away the wife and I found ourselves on the outskirts of Birmimngham within a few miles of where our daughter lives and works! A quick search on google for nearby eateries directed us to The Billesley Hungry Horse Restaurant, Kings Heath, Birmingham.

Upon arrival the restaurant seemed fairly quiet so we found a table and browsed the menu, on offer was carvery or a selection of grills, burgers, chicken dishes etc. We all settled on a big plate curry with my wife and daughter choosed Chicken Korma and myself opting for Chicken Tika Masala.

Prices were very reasonable, with all three meals plus a large coke each coming to just a few pence over £30 for all of us.

The meal when it arrived was well presented and included the curry (served in metal dish) with sdes of Rice, Chips, 3 onion bhajis’, naan bread, 3 popadums, mango chutney and a yogurt dip!

The food was of good quality and we were all left happy with our meals, only downside was a disco at one end of the restaurant and the music was loud enough to make conversation difficult but all in all we were happy with our meals and wouldn’t hesitate on eating there again if we were in the area.
